Turkish forces killed 63 Islamic State soldiers in Syria on Sunday after launching heavy artillery and drone strikes from the Incirlik air base in southern Turkey.
Turkish military released a statement confirming about Sunday clash on Daesh fighters.
State-run media in Turkey reported that the assaults were launched from several rocket launchers and gun positions.
Turkish military artillery killed 34 Islamic State fighters while the drone assaults killed another 29.
The Turkish military shelling took place after rockets were fired from Syria at the targeting Turkish city of Kilis which is located along the northern Syrian border.
The rocket wounded eight civilians prompting Turkey to take action.
