17th November 2015, Somali government sent a delegation to visit Kenya security construction site.
Somalia has been opposing the Kenya construction the security wall along the border claiming that the wall has encroached on their land.
The high Somalia delegation consisting of Federal government ministers and members of parliament visited Beled Hawo town of Gedo region to ascertain the facts revolving the construction security wall by Kenya.
Somalia has also taken Kenya to International Court of Justice claiming Kenya has encroached on their coastline.
The visit comes days after the Federal parliament of Somalia voted to kick out the Kenyan troops serving under AMISOM from Somalia.
Somalia is accusing Kenya of infringing their right by erecting the wall but Kenya has stayed put defending the construction saying Kenya, like any other nation reserves the right to heighten its national security and take the proper measures needed to prevent the flow of terrorism into their country.
Kenya has denied grabbing allegations saying the project was to defend itself against attacks from the Somalia based Al Shabaab militant group who find easy it to crossover to country and conducting surprise ambush or even infiltrating the people of North Eastern Kenya.
I hope they take their refugees back with them.
