Iftiin FM was launched in a colorful ceremony at a Nairobi hotel and graced by leaders especially from Northern region led by the Majority leader of the Kenyan National Assembly, Adan Duale.
The launch was presided over by Joseph Tiampti, the Information Principal Secretary.
Iftiin FM joins other KBC radio stations such as Coro FM, Minto FM, Radio Mayenga and Radio Ingo.
Among who spoke at the launch include KBC Managing Director Waithaka Waihenya who retairated that the national broadcaster’s commitment to extend vernacular FMs across the country in the coming months.
On behalf of Northern Kenya delegation, National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale on his part lauded the move and challenged KBC management to revamp the national broadcaster and expand the station tentacles reach to the Diaspora.
