A shootout erupted on Wednesday 18th November, 2015 in Paris between policemen and suspected militants in the wake of the attack that claimed 129 people in France.
The shootout ended in the death of 2 militants, one of whom blew herself up, and arrest of five others.
OSINT reports indicate that the weekend attackers were still holed up at an apartment in Paris.
The raid targeted an apartment at the crossroads of Rue de la Republique and Rue Corbillon, a region that is one of several places hit by gunmen and suicide bombers on Friday in the worst ever attack on French soil, which was claimed by the Islamic State jihadist group.
With international backing, France is tracking down on Abdelhamid Abaaoud, a Belgian national and mastermind of the weekend attack in France.
