Kenya’s Deputy President William Ruto has called on African government to unite and share intelligence in the wake of rising terrorism.
Speaking while he met Met Presidents Alassane Ouattara of Cote d’Ivoire and Ghana’s John Mahama at State House, Abidjan in Ivory Coast, he stressed the need for African nation to share intelligence if terrorism is to be defeated.
Terrorism ills are threatening to strangle the African economies while African nations are in the process of integrating and consolidating growth. Terrorism activities have disrupted normal lives, destabilized nations threatening millions of livelihoods.
The new phenomenon requires leaders and the people to be coordinated, extra vigilant and cooperative.
Kenya’s deputy President also to time to mourn and condole with the people of Belgium following the Brussels terror attacks that claimed the lives of 30 people.
