Al-Shabaab Mid-level commander Issack Okola and his platoon of Kenyan, Somali, and Tanzanian jihadists (approximately 40-50 strong platoon) relocated from their Kukumo camp to a village, south of Bula-Hawa border town.
The group sporting Kenya Defence Forces Uniforms stolen from the El-Adde base in 2016 has been conducting surveillance operations in the general area.
The group, particularly it’s Kenyan rank and file has repeatedly Raped innocent and unprotected Somali women in Bula-Hawa.
In a recent incident, intelligence reports warn of presence of Kenyan male jihadists wearing Kenya Defense Forces army uniforms, carrying assault rifles common with the KDF marauding and masquerading as KDF troops.
The Issack Okola jihadists are conducting war crimes which they then blame of conventional military forces pacifying the border regions. It’s a warfare strategy meant to instill hatred against the Kenyan Military forces.
