The leader of ISIS Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has reportedly ordered the execution of 320 of his followers among them several top-ranking officers for he termed as disloyalty both to him as Emir and the cause. Intelligence reports indicate that at least 5 commanders are on the list including; Abu al-Baraa al-Ansari, Sief al-Din al-Iraqi, Abu Otham al-Tal Afari, Abu Iman al-Mowahed, and Marawan Hadid al-Suri.
The kill list is of members of the group that Baghdadi (who recently resurfaced after close to a year of speculation) felt were reckless in their operation and duty execution leading to heavy losses onto the organization. The execution list cuts across both in Iraq and Syria.
Furthermore, the execution list has increased the number of deserters and defections in the ranks as they that Baghdadi is not working with accurate information and maybe using the list to eliminate insubordinate element even as the terror organization suffers major losses in both Syria and Iraq.
