Islamic state – ISIS have made a daring move by taking one of their operating base closer to the U.S. southern border. The militant group is being aided by powerful, violent drug cartels that are facilitating them to smuggle terrorists into U.S. states like Texas. This is according to a report published by a watchdog group (Judicial Watch) on Tuesday.
Mexican Authorities have found possible evidence linking the smuggling of the terrorists between Fort Hancock, Texas with the aid drug cartels. The watchdog reports cited and identified the two bases from which the militant ISIS are operating to be close as 8 miles from Texas and in west town of Juarez.
Though U.S. State Department and the of Homeland Security have not responded to the watchdog report, Mexican border has long been seen as potential vulnerability entry point for terrorists.
