An Iraqi court has sentenced 11 individuals to death for terror-related crimes with the ministry of justice in the country announcing their subsequent execution.
The 11 were convicted for a wide array of terrorist crimes, including car bombings, the assassination of security members or kidnappings is one in a series of executions where members of the Takfiri ISIS terrorists have been handed similar sentences.
In February, a criminal court sentenced 15 Turkish women to death after finding them guilty of membership in ISIS. In the southern city of Nasiriyah, 38 prisoners convicted of affiliation with ISIS were executed in December and 42 in September.
Iraq has been battling the Daesh terror groups which has been operating out of Iraq and neighboring Syria and seeking to establish an independent Islamic caliphate.
