Christopher Sullivan was shot at by Ruben Ray Jurado when he intervened a fight between Jurado and his brother in Chino Hills on Monday.
Christopher was holding his homecoming party when he was shot by the 19-year old Jurado.
Jurado drew a gun and fired twice hitting Sullivan twice on the neck after he and Sullivan’s brother argued about football teams during the party.
Christopher Sullivan joined the US Army in 2009 and has diligently served the 101st Infantry Division.
He survived a suicide bombing attack in Kandahar Afghanistan.
Christopher was home in Southern California for his homecoming party after surviving the suicide attack.
Ruben Ray Jurado, 19, was arrested and charged with attempted murder of 22-year-old Christopher Sullivan after turning himself in to authorities in Chino Hills on Monday.
Jurado after his arrest was transferred to San Bernardino police department where he will be held before being taken to court.
