Daesh terrorist group has suffered yet another blow after its third in command was killed by an airstrike in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.
Abu Hamza al-Muhajir is said to be the ‘third most important man' in command leadership hierarchy of the terrorist group.
Last month, Iraqi army supported by U.S.-led coalition airstrikes launched a wide ranging operation in a renewed effort to retake Mosul, the last Daesh terrorists’ bastion in northern Iraq.
In mid-2014, Mosul, the second largest city, was captured by Daesh before extending foothold in northern and western parts of Iraq.
Recent months have seen the Iraqi army, backed by local allies on the ground and the U.S.-led air coalition, retake much territory.
