A suicide bomber linked to the Somalia based Islamist Al-Shabaab terrorist group blew himself up in what near Somali parliament killing three people including two police officers.
Five other Somalis were wounded in the suicide blast which was targeted at the parliament which is located close to the presidential palace in the capital, Mogadishu.
Abdifatah Halane, a spokesman for the Banadir regional administration, confirmed the suicide attack to local and international media channels.
He confirmed that three people including two officers and the suiceide bomber were killed, other five people who were injures were rushed to Madina Hospital, Halane added.
Al-Shabaab terrorists who thrive in propaganda rushed to claim the Saturday suicide attack through their pro-channels exaggerating the number of casualties.
