Friday 30th October 2015, US continue to deploy F-15 fighter jets to Incirlik Air Base ready to boost the ongoing aerial campaigns against ISIL.
According to US, NATO senior defense official commander Breedlove, increasing capacity at the air base is vital and greatly needed to help anti-ISIL campaign as well address the increasing threat to Turkey’s airspace.
Already Pentagon earlier this month deployed 12 A-10 warthog aircraft to Incirlik while F-16s that were positioned in the airbase were relocated to Italy.
Decision to deploy more warplanes to Turkey came same day the White House decided that dozens of Special operations forces would be sent to Syria to unearth and help Syrian oppositions groups.
SUMMARY
US is working alongside other Arab allies besides Jordan and Lebanon to boost the military strength and capabilities to counter the ISIL militancy.
US is in talks with a number of coalition partners and especially the Arab allies to locating some of their assets to Incirlik to build a dynamic reinforcement almost related to Russian who joined war against ISIL in Syria last month.
Russia intervention in Syria since inception has received fierce criticism from US and its coalition allies citing of gross violation of Turkey’s airspace drawing NATO’s attention.
