AFREC, among other Somali based NOG’s channeled UN money meant for relief aid and development for Somali people to Al-Shabaab terrorists, intelligence reports show.
Heads of these NGO’s confessed to have been under intense pressure from top leadership of Al-Shabaab terror group whom they knew too well, for cash.
Intelligence reports shows that AFREC personnel facilitated payments to the terror group directly.
Mentioned in the report are Messrs Abdiaziz Isaak and Ali Ahmed both officials of AFREC.
