Eight U.S. F-22 stealth fighters have arrived at Kadena Air Base in Okinawa Island from the United States on Saturday evening, intelligence reports confirm.
The question is whether the F-22 jet fighter oxygen problem has been completely fixed or still there are remnants of this problem in its cockpit.
The F-22 oxygen problem was fixed, US defense officials reiterate, but the flight path recommended by the US air-force is indicative of fear, that the problem is still a threat.
The fleet that flew to Japan left the US and used a specific flight path which had enough bases for emergency landing in-case the oxygen problem manifested.
The F-22 is the US Air Force’s most advanced stealth fighter manufactured and assembled by Lockheed Martin Corp.
The F-22 stealth fighter is capable of evading radar and can fly faster-than-sound speeds without using afterburners.
