Turkish police nabbed at least 17 people on Thursday linked with the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ). FETÖ is the group behind 2016 defeated coup.
An Istanbul-based police operation which netted 16 FETÖ operatives in a raid conducted across 16 provinces.
Also, under the investigation, Istanbul prosecutors issued arrest warrants for nine alleged leaders of the terror group and 17 FETÖ-linked lawyers.
Separately, police arrested another FETÖ suspect in the northwestern province of Tekirdağ.
The arrested comes barely a week after Ankara issued arrest warrants for 70 FETÖ suspects.
