A morning attack by Boko Haram terrorists on a Nigerian market place has left 125 people dead, intelligence sources in Nigeria report.
Current reports from the area confirm that death toll from an Islamist attack on a North East Nigerian market town of Gamburu has risen to 125.
The Gamburu terror attack happened Monday at dawn when dozens of Boko Haram gunmen surrounded the town and opened fire on the townsmen opening their businesses.
The market was busy and the terrorists opened machine gun fire, spraying the market with gunfire burning houses and vehivles and in some instances slitting peoples throats.
Boko Haram attack in Gamburu comes after the group kidnapped hundreds of high school girls and threatened to sell them in a market.
