A terror attack has taken place in Nairobi central business district, reports from the ground confirm.
An explosion was reported on the busy Moi avenue inside a business stalls exhibition
The attack targeted business people operating small business in what is popularly known as exhibitions.
The Exhibition shops which are along Moi avenue right next to Mount Kenya University have been completely destroyed by the explosion.
It is reported that people are trapped inside the building.
Police and fire fighters are on the scene.
Ugly scenes of injured persons and charred alive bodies has been witnessed.
Smoke smoldering and billowing high up from the scene has been observed.
Businesses within the premise have been destroyed.
Serious causalities are a high possibility.
