Intelligence reports from Somalia confirm that the Kenya Defense Forces alongside the Somalia National Army forces have captured the strategic town of Afmadow.
Al-Shabaab have been routed out of Afmadow, a Somali intelligence officer has told Strategic Intelligence in what we can refer to as unconfirmed intelligence reports.
Strategic Intelligence has not reached the Kenya army for official comment on their very credible effort.
However our intelligence unit has been able to verify these reports further crediting KDF and SNA with the victory.
