Taliban terrorist group continue to suffer huge losses in the latest artillery and airstrike raids targeting their hideouts in southeastern Paktia province.
According to the 203rd Thunder Corps in the Southeast, Afghan military and air forces carried out raids on Taliban positions along the Sharana-Ghazni highway targeting the militants in Chahar Diwal, Rashid Khel, Pir Shahbaz, Shaliz, Zewach, Kalach and Arzoo areas.
During the raids, 14 Taliban insurgents were killed and 13 others sustained injuries during the operations.
Separately, the Thunder Corps confirmed that several other militants were killed and five others were wounded during a separate operation in Sabari district of Khost province.
Humiliated anti-government armed militant groups including Taliban insurgents and ISIS have not commented regarding the report so far.
