Taliban local commander alongside three suicide bombers were killed during the operations of the Afghan armed forces in southern Zabul province of Afghanistan.
According to the Ministry of Defense (MoD) spokesman Gen. Mohammad Radmanish, the militants were killed in Shamolzai district of Zabul.
Gen. Radmanish further added that a total of sixteen militants were killed in Zabul province while Taliban commanders Abdul Mali, Omran Khan, and Ghazi Mujahid were killed along with 16 others in Aqtash of Kunduz province.
At least eleven ISIS militants were also killed in Nangarhar province and eleven others were killed in a separate operation in Uruzgan province.
According to Gen. Radmanish, at least seven militants including one of their commanders Qari Qudrullah were killed in Helmand while a commander of the ISIS group was killed in Chapa Dara district of Kunar.
