Somali Prime Minister, Hassan Ali Kheyre visited SNA soldiers in the hospital after they sustained injuries following a deadly SVBIED attack on their military base in Awdhegle town, Lower Shabelle region of Somalia.
The Somali Premier visited the unspecified wounded soldiers wounded on Wednesday assault by the armed Al-Qaeda affiliated Al-Shabaab on recently recaptured agricultural town of Awdhegle, located about some 70km south of the capital, Mogadishu.
The Premier was briefed by the doctors on the medical condition of the members of the armed forces admitted in the facilities. He wished them quick recovery and mourned the members of the national army who lost their lives in the twin SVBIED.
He reiterated the Federal government’s commitment to provide all necessary support to the troops as they continue their offensive to liberate areas still under the control of the armed group Al-Shabaab across the country.
