Somalia’s military court on Wednesday handed a death sentence to two Al-Shabaab operatives for their involvement in terrorist attacks and assassinations.
The Chief of the First Tribunal of the Armed Forces of Somalia Hassan Ali Shute sentenced Anshour Osman Abukar, 23, and Mohamed Ali Borow, 25, to death by firing for planning and participating in Al-Shabaab senseless attacks.
The two were found guilty of killing innocent Somali citizens, organizing of multiple explosions and staging of terror attacks at a complex in Mogadishu in 2017 and 2018.
