Hundreds of passengers are stranded inside a paddleboat after it grounded in a lake in Missouri.
Over 567 passengers and crew of the Showboat Branson Belle a 750-seat paddleboat cruise are stuck in the Table Rock Lake.

The paddleboat named Showboat Branson Belle will have to wait till dawn for rescuers to tow it or fix it.
Weather conditions have affected the smooth sailing and it has been advised that it is ideal to leave the boat where it is until the winds die down.

According to Herschend Family Entertainment spokesperson, Lisa Rau, the boat is heated and has electrical power.
The Branson Belle developed a thruster problem grounding it to a halt leaving hundreds stranded.
The boat has no accommodation but has food and beverages onboard.
No incidents have been reported.
