The Afghan Military has confirmed that its forces killed over a dozen armed militants during military operations in northeastern Kapisa province of Afghanistan.
According to the 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan Military in the East, Afghan army forces, Afghan police, Local Police, Public Order Police, and Afghan intelligence forces conducted joint operations in Badrab village of Tagab district.
The source added at least 13 militants were killed during the operations and 19 various types of improvised explosive devices were discovered and defused.
The anti-government armed militant groups including Taliban militants have not commented regarding the operations so far.
