Several terrorists affiliated with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist group were killed in the latest airstrikes conducted by the US forces in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.
According to officials in Nangarhar police commandment, US forces carried out airstrikes in two districts using unmanned aerial vehicles, leaving at least 17 ISIS terrorists dead.
The officials further added that 14 terrorists were killed in Haska Mina district while another three were killed in Achin district.
Separately, the 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan army confirmed that at least eight terrorists were killed in Deh Bala district in a US forces airstrikes and another militant was killed in Achin district. A compound of the terror group was also destroyed during the airstrikes.
Humiliated anti-government armed terrorist groups including the ISIS combatants have not commented regarding the reports so far.
