Russia’s military hardware exporter Rosoboronexport through a press briefing confirmed of plans to start selling Typhoon-K wheeled armored vehicle (factory index KAMAZ-53949).
The plans to begin large scale exported are slated for 2017-2018.
According to Rosoboronexport, a presentation sample of the Typhoon-K four-by-four vehicle, designed to meet foreign customers’ needs, is to be delivered by the end of 2016.
Rosoboronexport sees good prospects for marketing the Typhoon-K armored vehicles in northern Africa, the Middle East, Central and Southeast Asia, Latin America and the CIS.
The Typhoon-K armoured vehicles are designed for general purpose and special troops peacekeeping forces.
The Typhoon-K APCs have capability of carrying personnel and cargoes, its chassis can be also used to carry engineering equipment and weapons.
