Military reports indicate that Puntland Security Forces (PSF) killed 18 Al-Shabab militants in a successful operation conducted in Al-Madow Mountains on Saturday evening.
In the last three days, PSF has managed to kill nearly 30 Harakat Shebaab militants, destroyed their logistical and training base in the area.
Those killed in the operation included three mid-level commanders, two military trainers and over two dozen newly recruited militants.
In a statement, PSF confirmed killing 18 Al-Shabab militants in an operations against the Al-Qaeda linked terrorist group in Dhagahdhabur, Madarshoon, Karin Hagarood and Diindigle areas of Al-Madow Mountains.
