President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani said that Afghan armed forces is expected to receive 50 helicopters from NATO in the near future.
The President Ghani made the remarks while addressing the officers and personnel of the 205th Atal Corps in Kandahar.
The President said the NATO-led Resolute Support will deliver 50 new helicopters to the Afghan armed forces in the near future to boost the forces air capabilities.
He also listened to the information and recommendation shared by the 205th Atal Corps and lauded them for their selfless sacrifices while insisting on the justified efforts of the Afghan armed forces.
President Ghani also thanked the Afghan Air Force personnel for their efforts and issued necessary instructions for the promotion of the soldiers, sergeants, and officers.
In other parts of his speech, the President lauded the personnel of the 205th Atal Corps for their justified demands to equip and strengthen the Afghan armed forces, stressed that such demands are not personal but were aimed at the bolstering the capabilities of the armed forces to combat with terrorism challenges.
