Kenya continues to mourn and celebrating the lives of gallant soldiers who lost their lives in El Adde attack on Friday 15, January 2016.
Messages of hope, condolences and prayers continue to stream in from all over the country all in solidarity with the fallen heroes.
President Uhuru Kenya on his part and behalf of the nation issued a statement on 19th January 2016, calling on Kenyans to stand united behind our gallant KDF soldiers who are fighting Al-Shabaab threatening regional peace.
President Kenyatta however said, as a country we won’t bow to terrorists and KDF soldiers will continue with their mandate in Somalia under AMISOM until the enemy is defeated.
Similar messages of hope and prayers have been witnessed across the country from churches, praying for families of soldiers and praying for Kenyan uniformed forces in Somalia.
