Police on Monday 3rd October 2016 gunned down four thugs at Likoni road, Industrial area, Nairobi.
The Flying Squad detectives ambushed the four thugs after they attempted to conduct a robbery at premise in the area in the morning hours.
The detectives recovered a pistol, police pocket phone and handcuffs from the criminals.
According to the Head of Flying Squad, Said Mohammed, the officers launched hot pursuit for two others who escaped during the morning encounter.
Police are on high alert and in the past few months several gangsters have been gunned down in Nairobi.
