Kenya Police today at about 11.00am (Tuesday, 28th April 2015) in Wajir County, a frontier area, disrupted a hostage style terror attack effectively.
Intelligence reports show that at around 11:00am EA Time, 3 men approached the Wajir governors office compound
Police detected the suspicious person and swiftly ordered them to identify themselves.

The men refused to identify themselves.
One of the men withdrew a pistol and shot at the Kenya Police unit which had already tactically deployed.
The police shot dead the gunman, a second one was injured but fled, while the 3rd man was arrested.
The anti-terrorism police are debriefing the man.
