The Special Forces unit acting on intelligence from the joint intelligence team composed of the Intelligence Service and the Directorate of Military Intelligence intercepted and arrested Mursal Mohamed Hassan and Abdulahi Abikar.

he vest was concealed inside a water jerrycan.
Intelligence shows that the 2 who were part of the group of 5 were involved in the logistical planning of the Garissa University Attack.
Intelligence further reports that the suicide vest was being smuggled to Nairobi’s Majengo area to a terror cell which was to conduct a suicide and gun attack at the Wakulima market in the Kenyan capital Nairobi.
