The Nigerian Army has announced that it destroyed a Boko Haram bomb-making factory in Buk village in Damboa Local government of Borno State. The Improvised Explosive Device (IED) making facility was destroyed in an ongoing clearance operation by the Brig.-Gen. Texas Chukwu, the Director, Army Public Relations, said in a statement in Maiduguri that the troops had destroyed the insurgents’ camp, killing a number of Boko Haram militants and rescued some persons from captivity.
Troops of 27 Task Force Brigade in conjunction with the Nigerian Air Force and Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) in the ongoing clearance operation destroyed another Boko Haram enclave.
