Nigeria has concluded arrangements to buy 10 super mesh training aircraft from Pakistani Air Force.
The move is aimed at boosting the country’s security in the wake of rising insecurity brought forth by Boko Haram insurgents.
A top military official, Chief of Air Staff (CAS) Air Marshal Sadiq Abubakar, disclosed news on acquiring training aircraft from Pakistan on Saturday at the graduation of Student Pilot Course (SPC) 41B in northern city of Kaduna.
Abubakar said the aircraft would be used by 301 Flying Training School, Kaduna.
In addition to the acquiring of the aircraft, Pakistan pilots soon expected in Nigeria to conduct a training to the Nigerian pilots at the 310 Flying Training School.
