
A grenade blast in Madagascar stadium left two people killed during the country’s national day celebrations in the capital, Antananarivo .
According to an official, the grenade explosion is linked to a terrorist attacks which usually target crowded public places. The blast saw about 700 people wounded (stampede).
Though the country in 2014 had another grenade explosion that left a toddler killed and dozens others wounded, the political situation in the country remains fragile with supporters and opponents of president Hery Rajaonarimampianina constantly at loggerheads.
