Niger has 
extradited Muammar Gadaffi’s son Al-Saadi Gadaffi to Libya early Thursday.
Al Saadi fled Libya when his father’s regime crumbled after a NATO led air and naval assault backed up a rebel uprising in 2011.
Al-Saadi Gadffi has been under house arrest in Niger, a desert West African country was handed over to Libyan authorities on Thursday.
Tripoli says it will treat Al-Saadi Gadaffi in accordance to international law.
The former football player and fan, besides military officer was transferred to a prison in Libya’s capital Tripoli.
He was shaven, both his hair and beard then dressed in a blue jail uniform by the prison guards.
Al-Saadi joins one of his brother’s in a Libyan jail after the fall of the Gadaffi regime.
Saadi is a former head of the Libyan Special Forces and is wanted by the government for his role in curbing violent protests in 2011.
