Russia Defense Ministry is hosting its annual Moscow International Conference on Security, starting from 27th to 28th April 2016.
The annual conference is attended by top military officials and experts from around the world to discuss global defense issues and insights on fight against terrorism.
“Representatives from at least 80 countries, three deputy prime ministers, 20 defense ministers, 15 chiefs of staff, 10 international organizations and military delegations have confirmed their participation" in the forum, Anatoly Antonov, Deputy Defense Minister, said while briefing local and international media.
Almost 500 guests have arrived in Moscow to attend the security conference which is being held for the fifth time year.
The global fight against terrorism will top the agenda of the conference, Russia Defense Ministry posted on its website.
The forum also is expected address issues of security in the Asia-Pacific region, conflict in the Middle East, the problem of war and peace in Europe as well as global security and military cooperation.
