A London man has been sentenced to seven years in prison by a Kingston Crown Court on terrorism charges. Mohammed Kamal Hussain, 28 years old, was found guilty by the court after an investigation revealed that he encouraged terrorism on social media as well as supporting a banned terrorist organization.
Mohammed was arrested after a tipoff to the Home Office responsible for security in the UK that claimed that he was sending private messages to people on Facebook. Upon investigation, it was discovered that Mohammed had been sending Facebook messages to people urging them to join the Islamic States as well as posting messages that praised the group’s activities in the Middle East.
