EVENT SUMMARY
Tuesday 17th May 2016, Kuwaiti acting Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah reiterated on Kuwait commitment in support Somali Federal government in combating jihadists groups.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled spoke during a meeting with visiting Somali Defense Minister General Abdulkadir Sheikh Dini, at the Foreign Ministry Diwan.
On his part Somali Defense Minister expressed appreciation to Kuwait continued support backing Somalia’s effort to bring the country to path of peace and stability.
The meeting was also attended by Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Mohammad Khaled Al-Kheder, his deputy Lieutenant General Sheikh Abduallah Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Assistant Foreign Minister for the Foreign Minister’s office Ambassador Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah and some senior officials at the Foreign Ministry.
