Iraqi media outlets continues to report on gains made against ISIL Takfiris with Kurdish Peshmerga recapturing a Christian majority town from the ISIL terrorist group which had briefly taken control of the town.
Peshmerga forces backed by Christian fighters and coalition airstrikes managed to make advances towards the northern town of Tel Skuf, 30 kilometers north of Mosul, Kurdish dislodging ISIL terrorists.
Initial BDA indicate that 40 ISIL terrorists were killed in the clashes.
In a separate incident on Tuesday, Kurdish Peshmerga forces foiled an ISIS attack and killed 5 militants northwest of Kirkuk.
