Surveillance footage at the airports revealed that the Brussels Zaventem airport attack was executed by two brothers and are directly linked to the November 13 Paris Attack Salah Abdeslam. Police had already been hunting the two for link with Salah.ISIS have since taken responsibility for the attack.
Prosecutors said police raids were carried out across Belgium on Tuesday, adding that a bomb, an Islamic State flag and chemicals were found in one apartment.
The arrest comes as nations join Belgium to mourn the loss, the Belgium lockdown has been lifted with world leaders coming together to advocate for joint efforts and cooperation in fighting ISIS and other terrorist organizations.
