Kenya and Tanzanian leaders pledged to renew bilateral cooperation in key areas such as security, trade, labour migration and wildlife protection.
Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli was on a two day official state visit in Kenya (Monday and Tuesday).
Speaking to reporters in Nairobi after bilateral talks President Uhuru Kenyatta and his counterpart John Pombe Magufuli said the two countries will cooperate in trade, investments and in the war against terrorism.
President Kenyatta noted that Magufuli’s state visit to Kenya marked a significant milestone in regional integration.
On his part Magufuli said Kenya and Tanzania shared a similar vision of advancing regional trade, investments and stability.
