Kenya Special Forces Continue Hunt for Border Al-Shabaab Operatives

Kenya Army Special Forces tasked to intercept and decommission operatives of Somali based Islamists Harakat al-Shabaab al-Mujahideen have arrested dozens of attackers attempting to cross into Kenya.

Intelligence reports show Directorate of Military Intelligence and the National Intelligence Service of Kenya have been successful in anti-terrorism operations.

The Army SF-SO team arrested 2 suicide bombers in possession of active suicide vests in Wajir a frontier area in Kenya’s North.

The operatives of Harakat al-Shabaab al-Mujahideen were using fake identification cards and were crossing into Kenya through the border.

Operations against the terror group have been scaled up in past month.
