Kenya: Security Beefed Up in Coastal Regions Ahead of Ramadhan

Noah Mwavinda, Coastal regional police commander, has released a statement assuring residents that police are on high alert to ensure maximum security.

Places of worship will have increased security during the month of Ramadhan.

Institutions of higher learning, vital installations, tourist sites, shopping malls, highways and bus termini will under heavy security round the clock according to police boss.

Further, residents of the coastal region are required to report any suspicious persons or activities.
