Kenya’s ministry of interior through its Cabinet Minister Rtd General Nkaissery has today 2nd of September 2015 issued a statement highlighting changes in county government police command structure.
In the statement, the Rtd General made public structural changes, mainly a reshuffle of County Commissioners and police commanders.
According to the Ministry of Interior, these changes aim at helping the country achieve security objectives; specifically
1. Countering Terror and extremism
2. Curbing cattle rustling in North rift
3. Illicit alcohol menace
The National Police Service also made clear that the Deputy Inspector General of Police Grace Kaindi had retired from the police service.
