Kenya Defense Forces artillery unIts have bombed Somalia’s region of Bula-Gaduud killing over 34 Al-Shabaab militants today morning killing 34 militants.
Intelligence sources report Kenyan troops backed by gunship helicopters from its rotary wing 50-ACB moved into the region with heavy artillery and launched an offensive in the morning of Thursday 9th 2014.
In the attack, Al-Shabaab lost their vehicles and weaoponary .
A commander of the militants in that region was also captured alive.
Intelligence sources report that the Al-Shabaab militants withdrew from the area and have been reported to be camping in Jamane area.
The intelligence reports show that the militants fleed the attack from the Kenyan military serving under AMISOM.
