Shabaab Terror group flew another drone in Kenya’s airspace prompting firing of small anti-aircraft fire by security forces based in the NEP Prefecture.
On the aerial recce operation, the terrorist’s UAV flew over a secret military FOB in Damasa and a Police station in Fino area.
Though the anti-aircraft fire didn’t down the enemy aerial surveillance aircraft, intelligence shows army is moving electronic anti-UAV assets capable of detecting and disabling drones.
The Somali based Islamist group has been moving large number of fighters towards the Kenyan Border for the past 4 months.
S.I intelligence confirms high possibility of a large-scale terror attacks along the border targeting army, police and other Government of Kenya staffers. The military remains on high alert along the frontier.
