Kenya has identified Hassan Hodey as the mastermind behind the attack on Arabia secondary school in Mandera, near Kenya’s border with Somalia.
Intelligence reports indicate that Hassan Hodey is the terror operative that planned and coordinate the attack on Arabia school that claimed the lives of two non-local teachers.
The man whom the police identified Hodey as a Somali national who had crossed the border from neighbouring Damasa area.
Joint security forces have seen been deploying to pursue the terror operatives responsible for a number of attacks along the Kenyan-Somalia border regions.
Intelligence report have of a possible high-scale attack along the border targeting army, police and other Government of Kenya personnel calling on security forces to be on high alert along the frontier areas.
Intelligence report has warned of the Al-Qaeda linked Al-Shabaab fighters’ build and concentration around Hola, Dura, Jidahaley, Juma, and Ilkabere areas, a few kilometers to the Kenyan border.
