KDF using its airforce wing has struck the Gedo region of Somalia destroying military bases belonging to the terror and militant al-shabaab which stil controls large swathes of Somalia.
Ten militants were killed while 3 main bases of the Al-Shabaab were destroyed by the Kenya airforce jets.
KDF mandate is in Gedo, middle and lower Juba where Al-Qaeda backed Al-Shabaab has strongholds and important training, communication and command centers.
